Missions Conference

Students from both the Owen Sound, Ontario and Sherbrooke, Quebec campuses attended the annual Missions Conference at the Word of Life campus in Pottersville, NY. The students were both challenged and encouraged by great speakers of the Word to "turn an upside down world right side up". They had the opportunity to hear about various ministries and missions boards around the world, what they do, and what God has been doing through them.
Several of the students had much to say about the conference and how much it opened their eyes to ministry opportunities both worldwide and in their very own community. They realized how important it is to be reaching out to others wherever God has them, no matter what the cost. They also learned about wise stewardship of the resources God has blessed them with. Several students made the decision to dedicate their lives to the Lord and they are now more eager to study the Word of God in classes at the Bible Institute and take advantage of the opportunity God has given them to be students of the bible!
